RUE MADAME X REDRESS TAKEBACK GIVES OLD CLOTHES A NEW LIFE
Redress is delighted to announce the launch of their latest Takeback partnership in Hong Kong with French fashion concept store, rue Madame. From the first week of February, members of the public can take their unwanted used clothing to one of three participating rue Madame stores and drop it in the collection box. Collected clothing is first sorted before being redistributed, resold or, if absolutely necessary, recycled by Redress to increase the lifespan of the textile or maximise its inherent value.

To start this journey to a kinder and greener future rue Madame brings in a range of sustainable fashion and accessories labels. These brands were discovered from around the world and all hold the rue Madame ethos that the secret to a brighter future is kindness. Our goal is to make sustainable shopping more accessible, and therefore encouraging customers to shop more consciously.

The box accepts mens, womens and childrens clothing as well as accessories. We ask that people wash everything first and do not include any shoes, textiles or mouldy items which could affect other items in the box.
As an organisation dedicated to reducing the fashion industry's negative environmental impact, Redress programmes enable consumers to embrace and enter the circular economy. Takeback is one such programme providing a very visible and accessible way for these consumers to give away their unwanted clothing, and ensure it does not end in our rapidly expanding landfills prematurely.
